The Executive Committee are pleased to announce the appointment of Lucian Verkin as National League Manager and Nathan Shaughnessy as National League Assistant Manager for the 2011/2012 season.
The league will be starting November 19th in Cork. Clubs will be able to enter teams in the coming days. The registration cut-off for the start of the league is November 4th. Clubs are asked to be proactive and ensure all their members are registered before this date.
IHI is looking for two volunteers to take control of this year's national league. We have National League Manager and National League Assistant Manager positions open.
The responsibility of these two persons will entail the management of the league from an operations perspective (setting game schedule and communicating it, managing game days etc) and financial perspective (collecting game fees, venue rental etc).
It is crucial for a successful season that somebody takes ownership of the league. Any persons interested in the open positions are asked to contact IHI at general.secretary@inlinehockeyireland.org before 6pm, Friday 7th October 2011.
Member registration for the 2011/2012 season is now open. All members from last year have had their login details for this website sent to them via email and SMS. Please use these credentials to log into the website before completing your registration. New members to IHI can go straight to the registration page.
The main enhancement to the registration system this season is that members can now pay their registration fee online (via Paypal). After completing registration online, all members must print and sign their generated registration. This form is emailed to members after registration for convience. Please note that registration does not take affect until IHI receives both a member's registration form and registration fee.
After consultation within the committee and with member clubs, the Executive Committee has adopted a uniform policy document to augment FIRS uniform requirements.
