Officiating Course August 2018

Inline Hockey Ireland will hold a Level 1 and Level 2 officials course on Sunday August 26th, 2018 at Gormanston Aprk, Dublin.

The course is for anyone looking to become a qualified Inline Hockey Ireland referee or scorekeeper, or become more familiar with rules and officiating. The course will be ran by our Head of Officials Development, Jason Tessier.

The course is open to new and experienced officials and is not just for on court officials. The course will start at 9:00AM, and will give instruction on rules, officiating and game procedures, with practical experience given at appropriate later dates. Candidates looking to qualify must pass a test given at the end of the course.

To attend the course you must have your registration completed on registration tab on Rsportz prior to the course. Even if you have never officiated before you can still register and attend the course to gain your Level 1 qualification. Registering as an official entitles you to attend and officiating course in the year for no extra charge as well as receiving an official Inline Hockey Ireland officiating jersey.

Inline Hockey Ireland is supportive of all our officials, who we constantly work with to improve and ensure they are well equipped to perform their vital role. Our officials receive generous expenses payments for the time and travel they give to our sport.
