The Irish Senior Women National Team has arrived safely in Roccaraso this afternoon ahead of the Championships beginning tomorrow.

Team Ireland have a deeper squad than the European Championships with 13 skaters, 2 goalies and an extended staff with Louise Adams unfortunately missing out through injury. The team returns 7 players from last years roster with an injection of numerous young players this time around. The Irish team is predominately featuring players from Irish clubs, namely; Bangor Chiefs, Cork Wolfpack, Flying Ducks, Kilkenny Storm and Sirens, with 2 further players playing in England & Scotland. 

Ireland are in a pool with Great Britain and Australia. The winners of the pool get a change to progress to quarter finals while the other teams will play for positioning.
