Inline Hockey Ireland (IHI) is the national governing body for Inline Hockey in Ireland, both Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland. Inline Hockey Ireland are affiliated with World Skate (formally Federation Internationale de Roller Sports, FIRS) who are the international governing body of roller sports and Confederation Europeenne de Roller Skatings (CERS) who are the European governing body of roller sports.
Inline Hockey Ireland are responsible for operating national competitions and leagues, establishing the rules and regulations associated with playing inline hockey, and ultimately works towards the development of Inline Hockey in Ireland. This website has been developed as a source of information about the activities of Inline Hockey Ireland and its member clubs.
IHI is committed to the development of Inline Hockey in Ireland, including Junior development, female participation, referee development and national team progress. These areas of development will be achieved through a number of specific task groups that have the backing of the executive committee.
Chairperson - Michael Creane
Michael is entering his fifth year of being part of governing inline hockey in Ireland, his first as chairperson. Michael has a background in business management has ambitions to both grow the sport in Ireland and also enhance Ireland’s position on a European and Global scale. Michael is very open to suggestions so if you have an idea to share, get in contact with him.

Lynne has been a Hockey Mum for over 15 years now and has been involved with the running of the Bangor Chiefs in the past, including serving as their Treasurer. Lynne is a Certified Accountant and will be a key person as IHI look to become recognised by Sport Ireland.
Director of Senior Operations - Eduards Bartkevics
With a lifelong interest in the sport, Ed jumped at the chance of being involved with Inline Hockey Ireland. His aim is to apply his competitive nature, tireless work ethic and great communication skills to the role. Making the National Team a success will be one
of his main priorities.
Director of Junior Operations - Steven Mallon
Steven began playing Inline Hockey in 2007 as a 15 year old before going on to play Edinburgh University. On his return home last year, Steven got heavily involved with Armagh Stars and helped re-establish the Stars Junior programme.Steven has a strong track record of delivering in Sport Volunteering, and hopes to bring his enthusiasm and experience to the IHI Junior setup over the coming year.
Director of Ladies Operations - Dorinda Sinton
Dorinda brings her experience from New Zealand, where she was part of both the NZ Women’s Inline and Ice Hockey teams, before travelling and settling in Belfast. Dorinda has been involved in Inline Hockey in Northern Ireland for over 10 years and brings a passion for Women’s hockey to the floor and is excited to help give Ireland a firm footing in which we can develop for the future. Dorinda will bring her unique experience as a duel international, having represented both Great Britain and New Zealand at the FIRS World Championships, placing 4th both times.
