Inline Hockey Ireland

Over the past few months, the Executive Committee has been drafting a uniform policy document. This policy outlines uniform requirements and guidelines for clubs when they are sourcing new uniforms.

The final draft of this policy has been released to IHI affiliated club representatives for consultation. We welcome comments from all members on this policy. This consultation period is open until the 27th of Februrary 2011. After this date, it is the intention of the Executive Committee to adopt this policy.

Teams must be in Cork at 8:30 to sign in.

The IHI inline hockey leagues will be starting in just under two weeks. The schedule will be made available soon. The league dates and venues are as follows:
January 23rd Cork
February 20th Kilkenny
March 13th Kilkenny
April 17th Cork

Games will begin on each day at 9am sharp.

The Inline Hockey Ireland AGM will be held at Little Island Sports Complex, Little Island, Cork on Saturday, October 30 at 6PM.

Elections of the IHI Executive and other items will be decided. Please forward any IHI Executive Committee nominations or agenda items for the AGM to the General Secretary as soon as possible.

Executive Committee positions which will be elected at the AGM are:

Chairperson
Vice Chairperson
General Secretary
Financial Officer
National Children's Officer
Director of Playing Operations
Legal and Communications Officer
Director of Ladies Playing Operations
Director of Junior Playing Operations

Please forward this to your club members. If you have a candidate you would like to nominate, please do so.

The AGM will follow after a day of exhibition matches between confirmed clubs. UCC, Cork, Kilkenny City Storm and Galway Bay Lightning are attending.

The Inline Hockey Ireland Annual General Meeting will be held on October 30, 2010. IHI plan to hold a tournament/competition on that day in either Cork or Kilkenny, location/time TBD.
