The Senior Women National Team Programme is striving towards giving a platform for talented female athletes to represent Ireland on the international stage, while also inspiring a generate of young female inline hockey players.

Structure of Programme
The coaching team are responsible for selecting a team and reserves to work with throughout the year. The coaching staff will usually hold try-outs each year. This squad will form the basis for selecting the final team that will represent Ireland at annual Championships events.

Player Eligibility
- Players must hold an Irish Passport
- Players that are eligible for an Irish Passport must obtain a passport before being considered for selection

- Players must be a minimum of 15 by January in the year of competition.
- Players outside of Ireland are eligible for selection
Costs
As inline hockey or roller sports are not yet recognised by Sport Ireland we receive no financial assistance from the government. This means that all costs have to be funded by ourselves.
The association is committed to financially assisting as much as possible, but we need to be economically sustainable. Therefore unfortunately the majority of costs will fall on the players and their families. However, we will organise fundraising events and source as many sponsors as possible to ensure this cost is kept to a minimum.
All travel and equipment costs for Championships will be paid at cost and payments will be requested soon after final team selection.
Long-Term Goals
- To attend World or European Championships every year
- To be ranked in the Top 16 nations in the World
